One person died and Interstate 75 was shut down for hours when a car and truck collided near Cleveland about 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening, authorities said.
Lt. John Harmon said the crash scene was in both the northbound and southbound lanes at mile marker 23.
Cleveland Police spokeswoman Evie West said traffic was diverted off the interstate at exit 25 and routed through Cleveland on U.S. Highway 11.
Harmon said no information was immediately available on the crash victim because family had not been notified as of Saturday evening.
