Two 18-year-olds charged with killing and robbing a man last year will appear in Hamilton County Criminal Court later this fall.

Dominique Greer and Franklin Wood are accused of shooting Darrien Moore, 21, on July 21, 2010. Detectives from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said Greer and Wood — both 17 at the time — lived near Moore and were attempting to rob him, according to newspaper archives.

Greer will appear before Criminal Court Judge Rebecca Stern on Oct. 3, and Wood is scheduled to appear Nov. 1.

Moore’s father heard his son pull into their driveway that evening and, when his son did not come inside, went to check on him. Moore was in the front seat of his car shot in the head.
