Readers write: City ambassador impresses celebrating couple
My wife and I visited Chattanooga for the first time Oct. 2-7. Among other things, we were celebrating our 40th anniversary. Everything was wonderful. One day we were having lunch at Bluegrass Grill at a communal table. We learned the young man sharing the table was local, born and bred, was a few days from his first anniversary. We exchanged stories about your fine city. After he left, we learned that he paid for our lunch and wished us a happy 40th. What an ambassador for your fine city. You should be proud of citizens like him. We'll never forget our first visit to Chattanooga.
