“Godspell,” a musical based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, will be presented this weekend by McMinn County High School’s fine arts departments.
“The musical, while not intended to be religious, includes parables and teachings from the Bible in order to show a community of very diverse people coming together in unity under one man’s message of love,” according to a news release.
Performances start at 7 p.m. today and Saturday in the MCHS auditorium, 2215 S. Congress Parkway, in Athens, Tenn.
Tickets at the door are $8 for adults, $6 for children and students.
