Begun in 1999, Bug-a-Palüza has grown from a handful of enthusiasts spending a Sunday afternoon in a dealership parking lot to one of the largest annual VW events in the region. Last year, there were more than 300 show cars, more than 70 vendors and thousands of spectators. The event, set for Friday through Sunday at Camp Jordan, will feature live music from No Big Deal on Friday night and Jeremy Lesley Band on Saturday night. Admission is $3 per person for one day or $4 per person for two days. Children under 12 admitted free. Proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga.
