NASHVILLE – Republican gubernatorial hopeful Zach Wamp’s campaign announced today it will begin airing its first television ads beginning Thursday morning.
The Chattanooga congressman is the last among the three GOP candidates to go up on television. Wamp campaign officials said it is a “statewide buy” but have not stated how much they are spending.
The ad will be posted at 9 a.m. EDT Thursday on U.S. Rep. Wamp’s website.
Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam has already been running ads for weeks while Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey recently went up with his ads on broadcast and cable television.
