From a field of three outstanding candidates, Hamilton County voters have picked respected attorney Jeffrey Atherton as the next Chancery Court judge. He will complete the remaining four years of retired Chancellor Howell Peoples’ term, then an election will be held for a full term.
Mr. Atherton, a Republican, defeated independent Art Grisham and Democrat Valerie Epstein.
We believe he will serve conscientiously and with distinction.
