Candidates winding down from the Aug. 5 county elections, whether they won or lost, still must pick up what they left behind – yard and road signs, that is.
Hamilton County has announced a list of several locations where candidates and their supporters can drop off political placards for recycling.
James Bennett, a recycling specialist with the Standifer Gap Recycling Center, said this morning he had already received eight signs. The signs are typically made from paper and plastic, he said.
