The campaign of GOP 3rd Congressional District candidate Chuck Fleischmann announced today that state Rep. Richard Floyd, R-Chattanooga, has endorsed him.
“I am pleased to endorse Chuck to be our 3rd District congressman. I believe Chuck has the tenacity and ability to continue strong representation for the 3rd Congressional District,” Floyd said in a news release.
“In a time when the very moral fabric of our country is being attacked from the White House to the courthouse, we need a man with the strong family and moral values that will stand firm for America. Chuck is that man, and I trust him,” Rep. Floyd said.
Fleischmann thanked Floyd for his support, according to the release.
Fleischmann faces Democrat John Wolfe in the Nov. 2 contest to succeed Zach Wamp, who ran unsuccessfully for the GOP nomination for governor.
