King, Ealey a perfect pair

ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia tailbacks Caleb King and Washaun Ealey each averaged 9.2 yards per carry during last November’s upset win at Georgia Tech.

They aren’t always so alike.

“Washaun has lots of friends on Facebook,” King said. “I dial away from Facebook. I couldn’t tell you how many friends he’s got, because I don’t go on there much.”

The soft-spoken King and the affable Ealey are different in demeanor but share the goal of building off last season’s finish and being productive this year behind a veteran offensive line. While Alabama’s Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson deservedly are pegged as college football’s top tandem, King and Ealey are looking to give the Southeastern Conference another quality set of renowned rushers.

Ealey averaged 112 yards during the final four regular-season games last year, while King averaged 95.
