Rhea County firefighters raced to Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home after a fire and explosion torched its second floor, a dispatcher said.
He did not know the cause of the fire, which was reported at 5:55 p.m.
No bodies were damaged, according to the dispatcher. There were no reported injuries.
