Metal detectors have been set up at Bledsoe County High School after several students complained of threats they received in the last week.
All students must pass through the metal detectors, Sheriff Jimmy Morris said. The detectors and deputies from the sheriff’s office will be at the school until the investigation is completed, he said.
Two “students of interest” have been questioned by investigators, the sheriff said.
Several students, both male and female, said the threats were received over the social-networking site Facebook.
Sheriff Morris said the threats described physical assaults.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is also looking into the matter.
