The RiverCity Co. has dissolved Chattanooga Downtown Partnership, the organization that for years has produced events such as the Nightfall Concert Series, Winter Days & Lights the 3 Sisters Music Festival, according to Kim White, president and CEO.
With the move, Carla Pritchard, former director of the partnership, has created a new company called Chattanooga Presents that has been contracted by RiverCity to produce the Nightfall series, as well as other events in the city, Mrs. White said.
The move is designed to “return RiverCity to its core mission of economic development downtown” and “it allows Carla to do what she is really good at, which is putting on events,” Mrs. White said.
