Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond is expected to hold a news conference at 3 p.m. today at his office to talk about consolidation of city and county police forces.
The conference comes on the heels of Mayor Ron Littlefield’s State of the City speech Thursday night at which Mr. Littlefield said there needed to be a “countywide police force.”
