Walker County government is refurbishing its Web site to make it more of a “one-stop resource” for visitors, residents and industry.
“People want something they can just click on to do different tasks,” county resource coordinator Larry Brooks said. “We’re trying to put together a resource people can use to keep updated with dates and events and to get contact information with different departments.”
On the site — www.walkerga.us — visitors can gather information on the county’s leading industries and watch videos on available industrial and recreational opportunities and the county’s historical background.
