NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lipscomb University is helping sponsor a conference Friday for Latino college and high school students.
There will be motivational sessions with four nationally recognized Latino leaders. Additionally, participants will be paired with mentors in an effort to provide a support system for the students.
There also will be a breakfast for Nashville’s business and civic leaders.
For the past year, Lipscomb has been seeking ways to serve the local Hispanic community.
Lipscomb is a private, liberal arts university affiliated with Churches of Christ.
