GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Authorities in East Tennessee are trying to find a woman whose car was found in the Nolichucky River with bullet holes in it.
The Greeneville Sun quoted Greene County Sheriff Steve Burns who said his department isn’t listing Anne Boyd as missing, but has been unable to locate her since the car was found by duck hunters on Saturday.
The 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis is registered to Boyd, who formerly lived in Kingsport.
Authorities found bullet holes in the windshield and the trunk. A Bible, pierced by what appears to be a bullet hole, was found inside the car.
