Jimmy Moncrief took a cross-country bike ride in June to fulfill a lifelong pursuit of “challenge and adventure.” Unlike similar trips where cyclists have sought to raise funds for global problems, Mr. Moncrief didn’t ask for money. He simply blogged to get the word out about a different Chattanooga business each day.
