Area aces
Song Hee Lee from Duluth, Ga., made a hole-in-one March 29 on No. 8 at Bear Trace at Harrison Bay. “Happy and incredible,” he described his feelings after the 133-yard shot with a 5-hybrid. Witnesses were Induk Chung, Moses Lee and Joon-Ho Kim.
Bill Moore knocked in a hole-in-one June 1 at Brainerd, using an 8-iron for the 133-yard shot on No. 17. Jim Woullard, Gil Prater and Larry Reneau witnessed the ace.
Ten-year-old Dylan Minghini recorded a hole-in-one early last week at WindStone. With Drew McDaniel and Greg and Carol Stewart watching, Minghini used a 9-iron for the 101-yard ace at No. 6.
John Arms hit a hole-in-one on No. 9 at Creeks Bend last Saturday. Steve Suttong witnessed the 152-yard ace, which was made with an 8-iron.
