Classes focus on anger, stress

CLEVELAND — Free classes dealing with parental stress and anger management for children are being offered this summer by the Behavioral Research Institute at the Cleveland Family YMCA.

“We are offering parent stress training class and at the same time they can bring their children, three years old up to teenagers, for the anger management class,” Kelly Myers, BRI intern coordinator and program facilitator.

The programs are offered each Monday, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the YMCA on Urbane Road. There is no registration needed in advance. The programs are available for any families in the area, including surrounding counties.

After the Monday classes, participating families can use the YMCA’s facilities, including pools and workout equipment.

There are three programs available during the class time.
