Diversity group hosts Serbians

The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is set to present a diversity roundtable this morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 730 M.L. King Blvd. to a group of visitors from Serbia.

Panelists will present their perspective on the historic value of diversity and its influence on urban cities in the United States to the visiting dignitaries, whose country was torn apart by ethnic violence in the 1990s.

The program, which was arranged by Warren Logan, president and CEO of the league, will allow local leaders to share a national and local perspective on how to build bridges in a diverse community.

Panelists include Dr. Bryan Samuel, JoAnne H. Favors, Gerald Mason, Beverly Cosley and James W. Frierson.
