Chamber events
* Red Bank — The Chamber meets on Tuesday at a luncheon meeting in Red Bank with Lisa Nausley of Sandler Training speaking on the topic, “Sales Tips — How to Close a Sale.” It begins at noon at the Red Bank Community Center, adjacent to Erlanger North, off Morrison Springs Road. The cost is $10.
* Ooltewah/Collegedale — The Chamber meets on Wednesday in Ooltewah/Collegedale with a representative from the Tennessee Department of Transportation as the speaker. It gets under way at 9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Ooltewah.
* Hixson — The Chamber has a noon luncheon on Wednesday in Hixson with Todd Schoonover, district manager for Capital Financial Group, as the speaker. It will be at the North River Civic Center, 1009 Executive Drive. Lunch will cost $10.
* Operation Thank You — The Chamber’s Ambassadors visit hundreds of renewing members to thank them for their membership and distribute goodie bags from Chamber members. The kickoff will be Thursday at The Chattanoogan hotel. It will begin at 7:30 a.m.
* Business After Hours — This Thursday Operation Thank You celebration will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Chattanoogan hotel.
* North Hamilton County — The Chamber meets in North Hamilton County on Thursday with Tom Edd Wilson, Chamber president and CEO, as the speaker. It will include lunch and begins at noon at Grace Calvary Chapel, 8615 Hixson Pike, Suite C. The cost is $10.
* Cleveland — The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce and Hoferle Consulting will present six cross-cultural training sessions, “Understanding the German Way,” beginning March 24 and continuing through June 2. Officials said they are aimed at helping prepare for a future German client and customer base. The sessions will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. and are to be held at the Chamber’s conference facility in the Village Green. Admission for Chamber members is $35 for a single session, $80 for a three-session package or $140 for the entire six-session package. Admission for non-members is $60 for a single session, $165 for a three-session package or $315 for the entire six-session package. For registration information, call the Chamber office at 472-6587.

* Contracting Workshop — Government Contracting Workshops PTA 101 covers the basics of government contracting. PTA 102 covers advanced government contracting. * Small Business Orientation — The counselor discusses on Thursday basic business planning including financial projections and legal entity.
