Soddy-Daisy’s Junior Miss program is a lot more than a beauty pageant. This year’s 26 contestants will be judged on scholarship, talent, self expression, interview skills and fitness. Carol Pierce, chairman of the Junior Miss board of directors, is inviting everyone to come out to see the competition on Saturday. The program will be held at Soddy Elementary School’s newly renovated auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased from any board member, Calico Florist, the contestants or at the door. Contact Shirley Baugh at 867-2454 for more information.
Earlier in the day join your friends at Allen Elementary School for the popular Time 2 Save workshop. Beginning to use coupons, session 101, will be held from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Sessions 102 and 103 will begin at 2 p.m.
