ICE spokesman Temple Black said Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia arrests accounted for one-third – 196 – of the 596 foreign nationals arrested in the agency’s nine state sweep.
* 124 were arrested in Georgia
* 29 were detained in Tennessee
* 43 were picked up in Alabama
Spokeswoman Barbara Gonzales confirmed that three charged in Georgia were from Dalton, and another three were from Calhoun. But she said she could not provide names, charges or other information.
Mr. Black also said he could not detail by city or county where the Tennessee and Alabama arrests were made.
