A motorcycle rider died Saturday when the bike left Harrison Bay Road and struck a tree, according to Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson.
Oral Burton, 47, of Harrison, was transported to Erlanger Hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Services, where he died from his injuries, Ms. Atkinson said.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division officers said the motorcycle driver lost control while attempting to negotiate a curve, leaving the roadway and striking the tree in the 8400 block of Harrison Bay Road about 3:15 p.m., Ms. Atkinson said.
The investigation shows that alcohol was involved, Ms. Atkinson said.
