The Hamilton County Commission today approved appointing Commissioner Jim Fields to the county Ethics Committee, filling the unexpired term of Richard Casvant whom fields defeated in the recent county elections.
Other committee members are County Attorney Rheubin Taylor, Clerk Bill Knowles, Administrator of Finance Louis Wright and County Auditor Bill McGriff.
The Ethics Committee investigates complaints against employees and elected officials, but committee members said the committee has not received any complaints.
