Tristen, a Chicago native now based in Nashville, will be playing JJ’s Bohemia, 231 E. M.L. King Boulevard, at 10 p.m. Tuesday. She was recently named an artist to watch by KCRW, The Wall Street Journal and Nylon Magazine. Her music has been described as “not-as-sweet-as-it-seems country” with a pop sensibility.
