Three men age 19 to 21 were arrested Thursday on methamphetamine charges.
Randy “Lee” Morgan, 21, Robert Stanley Vaughan, 21 and Jacob Rose, 19 were arrested, according to Janice Atkinson, spokeswoman for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Morgan and Rose were charged with promoting the process to manufacture methamphetamine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia, she said. They also were charged with unlawful possession or carrying of a weapon when a .45-caliber pistol and brass knuckles were found, she said.
Vaughan was charged with promoting the process to manufacture methamphetamine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia, Atkinson said.
The three were arrested after components used to make methamphetamine were discovered in their vehicle during a traffic stop in the 8400 block of Hixson Pike, Atkinson said.
The arrests are part of an ongoing methamphetamine investigation in and around the Sequoyah Hills/Dallas Oaks area of Hamilton County, she said.
