Central High School principal Finley King will not let the school’s dance team perform at the Howard-Central football game tonight because he says the dance is too provocative.
Some parents of members of the all-black dance team say the school hired a choreographer to create the routine. This choreographer also developed dance routines at three other schools, the parents said.
King said he doesn’t care if the girls were “pink,” the dance isn’t appropriate for high school. He said the team will not be allowed to perform until they “clean it up.”
