The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga finally finished.
The Mocs defeated Eastern Kentucky 42-24 on Saturday night in Finley Stadium.
Quarterback B.J. Coleman completed 24 of 32 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns. Junior receiver Joel Bradford set the UTC single-game record with 254 receiving yards on 11 catches, and he had one touchdown. Senior running back Erroll Wynn had 122 yards and a touchdown in his return to the starting lineup.
The Mocs led 28-9 at halftime and didn’t let it slip.
UTC (1-2) had fourth-quarter leads in each of their first two games only to falter in the final minutes. UTC has trailed for less than eight minutes of action this year.
