CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The economic weather may be frightful, but entrepreneurship for many is still delightful.

Startup business owners, and some with a few years of experience, met recently at the Museum Center at Five Points for the second annual Rising Star award luncheon. The event is sponsored by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center.

This year’s Rising Star award went to Impressions Catering.

“The [economic] roller coaster is not new,” Impressions owner Greg Hicks said. “But it really makes you focus on what you do and what you don’t do.”
