After successfully launching his own liquor company, High Liquors, with best friend Brad Wright in 2011, Chris Lawson is living a dorm-days dream that normally doesn’t last post college graduation. The Signal Mountain native met his best friend turned business partner at the University of Kentucky in 1999 and began his career working in management consulting for large companies such as Coca-Cola and Home Depot. Ten years later, Lawson’s career choice would give him and Wright an edge on the competition when they decided to start High Liquors. The company, which gives customers a one-stop shop for a full bar featuring vodka, tequila, rum and whiskey, boasts being the “new ultra premium standard – the spirits against which all others will be judged.”
