Samford made the key plays in the final six minutes Wednesday and beat the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team 60-53 tonight at McKenzie Arena.
The Lady Mocs led 50-46 with 6:23 to play following a Kylie Lambert 3-pointer. After that, UTC managed just three points the rest of the way.
Whitney Hood led UTC with 18 points and Kayla Christopher and Tenisha Townsend added 10 points each. Emily London led Samford with 20 points.
