Whether Cupcake Kitchen customers are in the mood for s’mores, key lime pie or a root beer float, owner Helene Grzybowski has a solution that fits perfectly in the palm of their hand.

“They’re small enough if you want to eat two, you can,” said Grzybowski of her cupcakes, which unlike those found at many cupcake bakeries are of a manageable size to be eaten without a fork.

Grzybowski said she loves to come up with unique creations, such as her orange cupcake made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, orange zest and real mandarin orange slices folded inside.

Her S’mores cupcake features chocolate cake with fudge filling and a graham cracker crust on bottom, topped with marshmallow buttercream icing and an actual S’more.

“I usually like to have some kind of embellishment on it to tell you something about what it is,” she said.
