A person was shot this afternoon by a Hamilton County deputy this afternoon at the Concord Apartments in East Ridge, sheriff's office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said this evening.
No information was immediately available on the names of the deputy or the person who was shot, but Atkinson said the sheriff's department will release more information shortly.
