Hamilton County elections administrator Charlotte Mullis-Morgan recently passed her certification exam, according to the Tennessee Department of State.
“This certification demonstrates Ms. Mullis-Morgan’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of her profession,” Secretary of State Tré Hargett said in a press release sent out this morning. “I am proud of her efforts in seeking certification – and the people of Hamilton County should be as well.”
The certification is a “rigorous day long exam held in Nashville at least once a year,” the release said, and passing it means Mullis-Morgan demonstrated that she is knowledgeable enough to be a successful county administrator of elections.
