Students at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will not lose spring break or part of their summer to last week’s snowstorm, which shut the school down for a week.
Instead, students will lose their scheduled Reading Day on April 29 to the last day of classes, and their exams will commence early on April 30, UTC spokesman Chuck Cantrell said.
“Most of our students had already made plans to work and travel during break and graduation so, in our minds, this is the best solution for everyone,” Cantrell explained.
Meanwhile, Cantrell said the university is getting back on its feet after losing so much time to the snow.
