A couple of exciting new ventures came to the surface this week.
First, Chattanooga Market director Chris Thomas has been working with Paul Mallchok at the Eastgate Complex in preparation of opening a WorkSpace and an ArtSpace that will benefit the types of artists and vendors who sell at the markets that Thomas’ crew runs.
Thomas said he also will move the market office operations into the WorkSpace.
The two “spaces” will basically give the vendors who don’t have a workspace and/or an office setting a place to work on a regular or part-time basis.
The ArtSpace, for example, will allow an artist to rent on a monthly basis a private room with 24-hour security and access where they store their materials and work.
