A man accused of beating his wife to death in front of his two children will have his next appearance in Hamilton County Criminal Court delayed until next Thursday.
John “Budweiser” Wiser has been charged with first-degree murder and domestic aggravated assault for allegedly slamming his wife Shannon Wiser’s head into a wall, then choking her to the point of unconciousness on Sept. 7, 2010.
Shannon Wiser, 31, died from her injuries five days later.
Wiser’s attorney, James Clements, said Thursday he is in settlement discussions with the state.
