The Chattanooga Lookouts are in Birmingham, Ala., tonight, but they’ll return Saturday to AT&T Field, 201 Power Alley, for a five-game series against the Carolina Mudcats. The last home stand until after the Riverbend Festival will be a busy week with multiple promotions.
• Saturday, 7:15 p.m.: Tennessee Youth Baseball Association Night, with a pregame parade on the field. For information on participating, contact Gavin Cox at gcox@lookouts.com or 267-4849. Entertainment for the evening will be by Breakin’ BBoy McCoy.
• Sunday, 2:15 p.m.: Faith Night, with a concert by Bean and Bailey following the game. Group rates are $2 general admission, $4 upper box seats and $6 lower box seats. Meal vouchers for a hot dog and drink are $5.
The day also is a Baseball Sunday for First Things First. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. From 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. fans (with paid admission) can play catch on the field (bring gloves).
After the game, kids get to run the bases to get a free T-shirt from The Athletic Shop of Red Bank.
For SunTrust Sunday, fans may trade a nonperishable food for a general-admission ticket (while supplies last). Foods will be collected in the bed of the Lookouts’ Dodger Blue antique truck parked outside the stadium, then donated to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
• Monday, 7:15 p.m.: National Park Night. Friends of the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will present several activities, starting at 6:30 p.m. Kids can be a Junior Ranger, talk with costumed Civil War soldiers and join a company to march out onto the field. A Civil War bugler will play the national anthem. The first 2,000 people through the gates will receive a National Park flag, and kids under 12 receive a voucher for a free hot dog and drink. Park trivia and prize drawings also are scheduled.
• Tuesday, 7:15 p.m.: Fans can receive buy-one, get-one-free tickets by presenting a Bi-Lo Bonus Card (limit four tickets) or a Kraft Singles wrapper.
n Wednesday, 11:15 a.m.: This old-fashioned afternoon game has a $7 lunch ticket option, good for a general-admission seat, hot dog and drink.
