Nick Yazzie, a walk-on safety on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team, was arrested Friday and charged with felony vandalism following a March 6 incident.
Yazzie, of Hendersonville, was arrested and released on $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 8.
Yazzie did not practice Friday after arriving late in street clothes, but did participate in Saturday’s scrimmage. He played in six games for Tusculum College in 2009 and walked on at UTC this spring.
Mocs coach Russ Huesman couldn’t be reached for comment Sunday night.
