Politicians are the problem
The Federal Reserve, created by Congress in 1913, is following a program they call quantitative easing or monetizing the debt. I call it counterfeiting – $4 trillion in just the past two years.
What’s a trillion? If you spent $1 million every day since Christ was born until today, you still wouldn’t spend a trillion. Inflation is only going to get worse, maybe much worse. Both Republicans and Democrats have led us down the same path. And what did all this new money buy? It’s now buying 70 percent of our new debt. Talk about incompetence and irresponsibility. Creating money out of thin air could eventually destroy us.
If all politicians are against inflation, high taxes and huge deficits, why do we still have inflation, high taxes and huge deficits? They and they alone must be held accountable by we the people who are their bosses. In the words of Charlie Reese, a journalist for 29 years: “Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.”
