With his Quality Building and Design business, Signal Mountain resident Randy Hollingsworth targets customers interested in utilizing green building practices or creating unique living spaces with aesthetic appeal inside and out.
A home built by Quality Building and Design.In his five years in business, Hollingsworth has completed dozens of projects in areas throughout the city, including North Chattanooga, Brainerd, Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain.
Whether adding a third level with a vegetative green roof to an older home or designing and building a lakeside adult tree house, he said communication with the customer and subcontractors is key to a successful project.
“We’ll work with just about any situation,” said Hollingsworth of his business, which is licensed for both commercial and residential building. “We can take the most boring space and add interest or beauty.”
A lifelong builder, the Nashville native grew up constructing tree houses and skateboard ramps, and as a summertime carpenter’s apprentice during college he improved his skills under a variety of master carpenters.
