Four men have been charged in an armed robbery Thursday night in Ooltewah, authorities said.
Cody Chase, 18; Johnny Myrick, 21; Darien Clay, 19; and James Amaud Taylor, 20, were taken into custody Thursday night, a sheriff’s news release said. A fifth suspect has not yet been identified.
According to the release, the victims were sitting in a parked vehicle in front of 5409 Mulberry St. when they noticed a car drive by, turn around and stop at the rear of their vehicle.
Five males exited the vehicle, two holding guns. They ordered the victims out of the vehicle, then ordered them to hand over their wallets and cellphones, the release stated.
The suspects searched the car and took a car stereo before leaving.
