It may be hard to believe since temperatures rarely dipped below mild this “winter,” but the vernal equinox (the first day of spring, to us laymen) is Tuesday.
To some, the warmer temperatures mean it’s time to tune up the mower or air out the linen, but personally, this season reminds me Nightfall is just around the corner.
With thoughts of a new season of great music on my mind, I reached out earlier this week to Chattanooga Presents marketing and media director Jonathan Susman to find out what was in store for the series, which begins May 11 and continues every Friday through Sept. 7 (except during Riverbend).
Here’s a preliminary list of confirmed acts:
May 25: Amy LaVere, an upright bassist and singer/songwriter from Memphis.
