Chattanooga and Hamilton County offer several ways for residents to recycle items as common as newspaper and as volatile as pesticides. Here’s how to do your part in keeping the Scenic City green and clean.
Curbside pickup
Chattanooga offers curbside pickup for cardboard, newspaper, all unshredded paper grades, all plastics, aluminum and steel cans. Materials must be put in blue bags, clear bags or covered bins marked “Recycle” and do not need to be sorted.
