Bluegrass, barbecue and perhaps even a civics lesson are on tap Saturday as Friends of Hamilton hosts its first FOH Spring Fest.
Admission to the event is free, but funds raised will help pay for the campaign to incorporate the new city of Hamilton in the unincorporated north end of Hamilton County, a rebuff to Chattanooga’s annexation efforts.
Local bluegrass bands will be featured.
Kids will be the focus of several activities, including fire trucks to explore and a special demonstration by the fire department.
