Andrew Weathers scored the first double eagle of his young career on No. 13 at Signal Mountain last Thursday during a practice round for the Signal Mountain Invitational. He used a driver off the tee and then a pitching wedge from 129 yards while playing with Mikey Feher and Sullivan Baker. “I didn’t see it,” Weathers said. “That made me mad.”

Claude Walker sank the 14th hole-in-one of his career on April 16. He aced No. 4 at Brown Acres from 130 yards with a 9-iron while playing with John Gill, John Morgan and Shep Spurlock.
Bill Meadows made his first hole-in-one last Tuesday at Creeks Bend. He aced No. 6 with an 8-iron from 125 yards out while playing with Jeff Bodkin.
Fred Simmons scored his seventh hole-in-one at Black Creek Club and the 15th of his career Friday. He aced No. 3 from 132 yards with a pitching wedge while playing with Chuck Schmidt, Gary Willmon and Allen Jones.
