Spooks continuing to multiply

The list of haunted attractions in the area grows by four this weekend, with spooks inhabiting a trail at Audubon Acres, a train at Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum and a ranch and depot in Ringgold, Ga.

Note to those who are easily frightened: The spooks on TVRM’s excursion are family-friendly.

ACRES OF DARKNESS

Where: Audubon Acres, 900 N. Sanctuary Road.

Fright nights: 7:30-11:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays in October.

What’s in store: The faint of heart can have their face painted and enjoy a cup of cocoa near the bonfire while braver souls walk the Trail of Terror through woods full of natural dangers and local legends come to life.
