The Sequoyah Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire that destroyed a house at 2127 Green Pond Road, Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., late Friday afternoon. The Soddy Daisy Fire Department and Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department were called for assistance but the fire was too advanced.
